About Openlife

OpenLife is the blog of Martin von Haller Grønbæk, a Danish IT-lawyer living with his wife Jeanne and two sons Vilhelm and Jens in Admiral Gjeddes Gaard in the historic center of Copenhagen.
Martin works as a co-founding partner of Bender von Haller Dragsted – a leading Scandinavian IT law firm. He works with IT law in general and with open source in particular. He sits on numerous boards of public committees and of SME IT companies in the Øresund region.
Openlife contains posts in Danish and in English on issues that Martin finds relevant to involve other people than himself in. That is matters primarily within IT law and open source, but also things that are more personal.
The blog in a work in progress and ever evolving. The name refers to one of Martin’s memes – the concept of Openness – as this relates to his private life. Openness is great principle to base a private and professional life on, but what its limits? “When I mean open, I mean open in sort of closed way”.
